Most of the people that visit Cerebral Palsy Connection have a disability like myself. A common thing all of us share is knowing how difficult and frustrating it can be sometimes just to do the little things, or having to accept things that are out of our control because we are disabled. This section allows a person to get a idea of what living with a disability can be like.

About Me: The personal story about my life and Cerebral Palsy. I try to be honest in my feelings on the subject and try to update the story regularly with what's going on with me as it relates to my disability. Those of you with a disability will more then likely find this story very familiar.

My Writings: Part of my past time involves writing short science fiction stories. Although my longest story is 53 pages typed, by book standards that is extremely short.  I write a lot of science fiction because I enjoy being able to be totally abstract and creative with my work that other areas of writing do not offer. I have placed a few of my later works here on the site. I am working on getting my very first story up for others to read, but unfortunately it was written back in the days of my typewriter.  Converting it to computer takes time.

My Web Designs: Ever since I decided to put together Cerebral Palsy Connection, I have wanted to get more involved in web design. My first web page wasn't much to AW over, but it was a start. I know it may not seem like I do, I love to push the limits of the web. Because CPC is a disability related site, I felt I had to tone things down to try and make the site more compatible with other people on the web. However, I am currently working in a section of my site that will push the limits of any user with a decent connection. Check out other sites I've done for individuals and businesses.

My Thoughts: This is a new part of the living with CP section. I have decided it might be good idea to put down my general thoughts throughout the day as it relates to dealing with CP. This also gives me a chance to test out my new voice dictation software. I'm wanting to see if it is easier to use the software rather than typing Web pages. So from time to time I will put down my own general thoughts on this web page for others to read. Nothing to personal, just general things the other people with disabilities can relate to.

My Resume: I was once told by a friend that looking for a job was the worst job in the world. This can be especially true if you have a disability (Job Database). I have put up my resume for others to see my background and skills. Right now I do networking and web site design, but I am still looking for that job to really take advantage of my degree. So do not forget to look me up in you are looking for someone with high-level technical skills.
