I would like to apologize
to all of you who have been sending email to me and have not yet received a
response to your message. Over the past few months my mailbox has been
overflowing with SPAM and even with filers in place some legit messages do slip
though the cracks and get filtered as SPAM. As a measure to combat this problem
I would like to ask all of you to include the letters
"CPC"
in the subject of your message. This will allow me to better filter messages
that are honest questions and comments you may have. Also note that the site
mailbox will no longer accept attachments. Any attachment you send will filter
your mail as JUNK. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but I feel
it is necessary in order to maintain the stability of the website. (This change
does not affect messages sent though the miscellaneous forms thought the
website.)

Hello there. My name is JessePaul and this is Cerebral Palsy Connection. CPC exists to allow those with CP to communicate with each other. Communication is very important in coping with the disability. All to often those with CP (or any other disability) feel isolated and alone. Communication is just as much a healing method as therapy or medication used by doctors. CPC soul existence is to bridge the gap and tries to help people realize they are not alone in the world in everything that must be dealt with CP.
Living with CP: Want to know a little of what its like living with Cerebral Palsy? This section contains my story and some personal content related to how I deal with my disability. (9)
Types of CP: Cerebral Palsy can cover a very large area of research. CPC tries to organize the specifics of CP into several areas to make it easier for you to find the information you are looking for. (6)
Email Database: This database is the very heart and sole of CPC. Feel free to add you name to the member list so that you may communicate with parents or those with the disability. (6)
CPC Directory: This section is a list of links around the web that you might find useful information in addition to that which is contained on CPC. (4)
Disability Bulletin: This section allows people to post disability related questions to other visitors on the site; announce medical studies; any other information not associated with any current section on the CPC
site. (NA)
Share a Story: This Section allows people to share their stories (both good and bad) as it is related to Cerebral Palsy. This is a complete anonymous Section (at your discretion) so that you need not fear people finding out who you are if that is your choice. (NA)
ADA Laws: These page are a copy form an Americans with Disabilities Act information site. It contains the guidelines concerning the Americans with Disabilities Act passed in 1990. This particular section of the ADA document gives the guidelines for basic rights of the disabled, public access, and employment. It is as close to the original document text as possible. (16)
Aging and CP: Read this report I have compiled and written concerning the affects the aging process can have on a person with Cerebral Palsy. Many of you with may have already experienced some of the things mentioned in this report. (3)
Job Database: Through my search for a job after college graduation, I realized it can be extremely difficult process when you are disabled. This section tries to help people with CP (or other disability) in finding resources for a job (7)
To try and make things easier, I have designed a page to explain how the new menu works. I am sure many of you will be able to figure this out, but if you need help in understanding it, please see the
